The heart of Unitarian Universalism in Southern California is the cathedral of the great outdoors and the thresholds of many vibrant congregations. What a gift it is to be a minister here.
Congregations in the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area serve our faith through beautiful worship, care for one another, guiding our resources, and using our voices for health and justice in the world.
My ministry is grounded in love for our local community, because this is home.
I take seriously the vision of home you have for your congregation's future and the holy labor of hearth-tending--doing what needs to be done in service of our faith. I'd love to accompany you on that path.
I have nearly 2 decades of religious leadership experience, and so much more to give this calling. After 10 years as a faculty leader in a UU theological school, I embarked in training to serve large congregations. In my first parish ministry, I led my congregation through a pandemic to become a teaching congregation, attain grant aid for new programs, create a thriving small group ministry program, and develop a new model for a sustainable multi-church partnership.
2023 is the year for me to take my next step in Unitarian Universalist ministry. In addition to my ministerial packet, I hope you will find this website useful in getting to know me and imagining our ministry together.
